We have been supporting The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland.

Let me first introduce the house to you and what the house is all about.The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, Inc. was founded in 1979 with a clear and magnanimous purpose: to be a home away from home for out-of-town familieswhose children are receiving medical care at one of the Cleveland area hospitals. Most of these children have serious illnesses.

There are approximately 212 Ronald McDonald Houses in the world with about 140 of those in the United States.The Cleveland House was the first founded in Ohio, and the ninth overall.

This year alone, the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland will serve more than1,500 families and the legacy of the House continues to grow. It stands as a symbol of comfort and support in our community with open arms to welcome any family who might need shelter within its walls. It has been calledthe house that love built.

We are very dedicated to this cause. This year we continue to do volunteer quarterly dinners for the house. We also have had basket raffles, numerous fund raisers, along with the success of our two community cookbooks. We have an ongoing program of saving pop tabs.

I feel it a priviledge to have such dedicated employees and friends who help to make this always a big success. I am convinced that love is not love til you give it away!
